Beautiful pine floors, a striking dark worktop, and a classic black range cooker - everything was already there. But the heavy pine cabinet doors and mismatched antique hardware were letting the whole space down. Every door, drawer front, and plinth was replaced with a hand-painted shaker profile in a deep olive green, paired with slender brushed brass bar handles that run clean and tall against the flat panels. The upper glazed cabinets were retained in frame and repainted to match, keeping the architectural detail of the originals whilst bringing them firmly into the present.
